Researchers found that from figures in 35 low to middle income countries, out of 16.7 million unwanted pregnancies, 15 million of them could have been avoided.

 

They found that 40% of women that don't use Contraception don't because they are scared of the side effects that modern contraceptives might have. Whilst another 20% don't use Contraception because they underestimate the risk of getting pregnant through unprotected sex according to a World Health Organisation study.
