Three 14 year olds have created a condom that changes colour when it detects an STD.
Condoms that detect STDs.
It doesn't matter which side of the barrier you're on, with the S.T. EYE condom you would receive instantaneous notification upon the presence of an STD in your relationships.
"We wanted to make something that made detecting harmful STIs safer than ever before, so that people can take immediate action in the privacy of their own homes without the often-scary procedures at the doctors," one of the boys, Daanyaal Ali, said. "We've made sure we're able to give peace of mind to users and let people act even more responsibly than ever before."
The boys from Isaac Newton Academy in London were approached by a manufacturer about comercialising their invention.
In the Teen Tech Awards their product dominated its category out of over one hundred intuitive teens.
"We created the S.T.EYE as a new way for STI detection to help the future of the next generation,"
